Google To Give Employees ₹75k To Buy Laptops & Furniture For Their Work From Home Set-Up

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has recently announced that all Google employees will be given an allowance of $1000 (Rs. 75.000) amid coronavirus lockdown. The decision came after it was estimated that most of the Googlers around the world will be working from home until the end of this year following the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, Google wants its employees to set up their work station at home efficiently, For this, they will be given Rs 75,000 so that they can buy laptops, computers, other devices and other necessary office furniture. Pichai believes that the allowance will not only help in easing the burden of work from home the Googlers but will also boost their morale during the pandemic stress.
