Ex-Captain Of Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team Forced To Work As A Labourer Amid Pandemic

Rajendra Singh Dhami, former captain of the Indian wheelchair cricket team was forced to take up the job of a labourer during the pandemic. Dhami says a few tournaments that were scheduled to take place were either postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus situation in the country.

Dhami has requested the government to provide him with a job of his qualification. On the other hand, District magistrate Dr Vijay Kumar Jogdande has assured immediate financial assistance to Dhami. He’ll be reportedly given the benefits under Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana among other schemes so that he earns an easy and efficient livelihood in the future.
