Just a week before his wedding, a groom from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh tested positive for Covid-19 on April 19. But the infection did not stop him from getting married on the decided date.
The groom along with his bride donned PPE kits and completed the ‘pheras’ on April 26. The marriage was solemnized in the presence of a priest, a few family members and some police officials. The district administration permitted the couple to tie the knot in PPE kits so as to prevent the spread of the infection.
